Industry Recognition for Howard Travel

The accolade was given at the Agents Awards event, a glamourous black-tie ceremony held this year at the NEC in Birmingham. 

This is not the first impressive accolade Howard Travel have recently obtained. Earlier this year, Howard Travel was shortlisted for the Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards 2016 in London, which honours the best travel agents in the UK.  

Managing Director of Leisure Travel at Norad Travel Group Linda Foote believes these nominations are ‘testament to the extensive expertise’ of the team, and says ‘Howard Travel has a reputation that goes far beyond our local community here in Trowbridge; word of mouth about our service excellence has brought us regular clients from across the UK, but we never forget the importance of personal face-to-face relationships that has made such a difference to the success of our business over the last 35 years’.

The Howard team consists of 17 travel experts, most of whom have been working for the company for at least 10 years, establishing strong relationships with their customers. Linda says ‘this is a part of the job we all enjoy’, and that Howard Travel have been there for their customers every step of the way; ‘over the years, as our customers move through their lives, we find the right holidays to suit from travelling as single people, through organising honeymoons, then family holidays and even post-retirement. Even their grown-up children come into the shop when they start travelling on their own.
